Platinum Alloys

Heraeus supplies various kinds of platinum alloys for different production purpose. Platinum alloy is a very unforgiving alloy for production since it is very sensitive towards contamination. Because of this reason, Heraeus uses only the purest raw materials for the production of the platinum alloys. Also, the fineness of our platinum alloys is carefully controlled. Insufficient hardness is one of the limitation of platinum alloys. Heraeus has thus developed some platinum alloys with extra-high hardness to cope with our customers’ demand. soldering master alloys are cadmium free and it will no longer be hazardous to health.
